On May 13, 2014 the Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU) rendered a decision in the case Google Spain SL and Google Inc. v. Agencia Española de Protección de Datos and Mario Costeja González. The judgment raises a number of important questions, including privacy, the concept of relevant information and the "opt-out" processing by search engines. In this webinar, Belén Arribas Sánchez will describe the case and the different aspects of the decision, followed by a debate with South American experts on what types of developments such decision may bring to their jurisdictions.
